Yordan Collection -- Hunt family, Sargeant Bay, Page 3 Mrs.
Yordan's (nee Hunt) parents came to Sechelt in the late 1900s to be
caretakers of her grandfather's property in West Sechelt. Her grandfather
had acquired the property in the early 1900s intending to build a resort
hotel, but WWI started and the venture was cancelled. Her father attempted
to establish a farm for several years but was unsuccessful and the family
          moved to California. 1
