The Friends of the Library Collection-- Sechelt Library, volunteers, Page 1

The Friends of the Library Society was organized in 1992 to raise funds for a new library, books, book bags and other library equipment. A variety of events have been organized over the years such as book and bake sales, readings by authors, story writing competitions and many 'special events.' The Friends continue to volunteer many hours each week working in Sechelt's new library. The records and photographs are collected and donated regularly to the archives. Some of the photographs were donated by individual members.
