Warren Allan Collection-- Selma Creek Store, Page 1

Mr. Warren Allan was born and grew up in Davis Bay.

The first Selma Park Store was run by Mr. Reg. Dunn during the All Red Line Steamship Company’s period of operating a resort at Selma Park. In 1919 the Union Steamship Company purchased the All Red Line and ran the resort at Selma Park, the new general store and dance pavilion until the 1950s. New owners such as Mr. and Mrs. Hubbs then Mr. and Mrs. Redman ran the store for a number of years. The store burned down on July 20th 1976 and the property now has a family home on it.
