circa 1978 -- postcard showing various views of the Sunshine Coast. Caption on the back of the photograph reads: "Map #5 -- Collectors' Series. The Beautiful Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada. Take a thousand bays and inlets from Norway, back them up with a dash of Swiss Alps, build a road along the shore and drench it all in brilliant sunshine and you have a reproduction of Biritish Columbia's Sunshine Coast. Georgraphically, the Sunshine Coast extends from Port Mellon and Langdale on the western shore of Howe sound, along the curving coast and northwest for 95 miles, through a score of thriving communities, to Lund beyond Powell River.
