The postcards are from a collection of souvenir brochures and postcards for tourists. Other items are directories, maps and articles for resorts, businesses, ferry routes and recreational facilities on the Sunshine Coast.

circa 1967 -- postcard of Madeira Park. Caption on back of postcard reads "The Beautiful Sunshine Coast. Maderia Park. Many luxurious pleasure crafts from the US and Canada dock in this harbour. An excellent motel is to be found here, as well as camping grounds."

The Pender Harbour area is a series of sheltered coves and bays which include Madeira Park, Garden Bay, and Irvines Landing. Texada Island is seen beyond the Harbour."

circa 1978 -- postcard of B.C. Ferry crossing Howe Sound from Langdale on the Sunshine Coast to Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. Caption on the back of the postcard reads: " The Sunshine Coast. Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Whether one travels by water or by road, the never ending coastline beauty is beyond description. The B.C. Ferry Authority, operates a large modern passenger and car fleet for the convenience of both residents and visitors throughout the year."
