While looking up someone in the 1942 directory I came across the following listings: "Sechelt Badminton Club, Mrs. R.D. Kean, sec. Sechelt Dramatic Club, Miss Betty Youngson, sec. Youngson, Betty, sten., B.C. Gov't"
