Interview by Rosella Leslie.

Bert Sim

Nov. 13, 2006

Bert Sim was born in Zeballos, B.C. in 1940 and came to Sechelt with his parents in 1945. His father worked for the BC Power Commission and in Jim Parker's hardware store before starting his own business, Sim Electric. Albert worked for his father for eighteen months and then worked at the Port Mellon pulp mill before retiring in 2001. Albert reminisces about his school days in Sechelt and Gibsons and his childhood in Selma Park.
