                -- Sand dredging operation on Porpoise Bay  A-frame 
                for office and living accommodation had been approved in 1966 
                by Sechelt Council for logging operator and developer Ted Osborne's 
                dredging operation near the government wharf in Porpoise Bay. 
                Sand from this site was used to establish a sandy beach in Porpoise 
                Bay Provincial Park. Visiting the operation are left to right 
                Mick McKay, Sechelt Chamber of Commerce Parks and Recreation Committee 
                Chairman, Hon. Ken Kiernan MLA, Social Credit Minister of Recreation 
                and Conservation, Ted Osborne, logger and developer and past-President 
                Sechelt Chamber of Commerce, Eric Hensch, President Sechelt Chamber
