The
1920, 1921 and 1922 Sechelt Directories list Ronald Francis Whitaker
as `sawmill operator.' After his return from WW1 brother Herbert
Whitaker gave him the Skookumchuck mill to run with a partner.
The last listing for him as `sawmill operator' is in the 1923
Directory which also lists Sechelt Lumber and Shingle Company
(the mill at Porpoise Bay) Clark, W. W. manager; Morrison, J.
E. bookkeeper Sechelt Lumber and Shingle Company; Reynolds, O.
millwright.
