-- Rev. Cecil Owen Darby (Derby) with the Wilson Guides softball
team which won the Wyngaert cup at the inter-school sports. The
Rev. Darby published "the Eagle" newspaper assisted by Alice French
who wrote in her history of St. Hilda's Anglican Church that he
conducted services in the Sechelt Tea Rooms prior to the church
being built in 1936. He moved to St. Bartholomew's Anglican church
in Gibsons and died when his ship, the H.M.S. Hood, was sunk in
WW11.

-- Rev. Cecil Owen Darby (Derby?), back row centre, with the St.
Bartholomew's Anglican Church Sunday School. He conducted services
in the Sechelt Tea Rooms prior to the building of Sechelt's St.
Hilda's Anglican Church and his move to St Bartholomew's. He died
when H.M.S. Hood was sunk in WW11.
