circa 1912-1913 -- Otilia Carlson, standing second from left, at a garden party at her home on the west side of Sechelt Inlet, D.L. 3047. Her son Eric is standing under the tree. He was teamster for Herbert Whitaker. Her husband, Herman Carlson, pre-empted the land in 1909 and died in 1910.

circa 1912 -- Otilia Carlson and her home on the west side of Sechelt Inlet. She was a widow with five sons, two of whom were carpenters and boat builders.
