1972 -- Mrs. Ada Dawe and Premier W.A.C. Bennett with the brass plaque honouring her work in the foundation of the Sechelt Library in 1961, her continuous service in its growth for the needs and enjoyment of the community.

1912 -- A. A. Bradbury, AARCA London, father of Charles Bradbury photographer, and Sechelt telegraph operator, 1913-1914, painting at the foot of Alma Road, Vancouver. He painted several scenes of Sechelt.

date unknown -- Charles Bradbury (1871-1950) was a professional photographer and the first telegraph operator in Sechelt 1913-1914. He was transferred to Campbell River and also lived in Vancouver. His father, A.A. Bradbury, painted several pictures of Sechelt during the summers of 1913 and 1914.
