1962 -- Mrs. Ellen Paul, nee Jeffries, 1884-1968, was the daughter of an English seaman and a Sechelt First Nation lady. She was a well known basket weaver, the wife of Dan Paul and mother of Chief Reggie Paul, Chief Henry Paul, Walter Paul and Mrs. Sarah Silvey
