c1930s -- Pender Harbour, Garden Bay, from St. Mary's Hospital SS Princess Patricia at Garden Bay wharf where she transported 200 people from Vancouver for the dedication and official opening of the first St. Mary's Hospital on August 16, 1930. Archdeacon Sir Francis Heathcote read the service of dedication, Lieutenant Governor Hon. Randolph Bruce opened the hospital officially.
