-- Jean Agnes Cook, the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Cook, graduated
from the University of B.C. in Arts. She taught school in Pender
Harbour, married Henry Whittaker and helped him operate a resort
in Farrington Cove.

-- A group from Pender Harbour charted a boat to take them to
Princess Louisa Inlet. They visited the James MacDonald family
who owned the head of the Inlet. Mrs. James MacDonald sits on
the right with Jean Cook (later Whittaker) beside her.
