"May 24, 1972 -- Historic Occasion -- For the first
time council of Sechelt held an official meeting with the coucil
of the Sechelt Indian Band in order that affairs of mutual
interest might be discussed. Historic event took place last
Wednesday, May 17th in the Sechelt Village council chambers.
Next such event is scheduled for June 20th in the chambers of
the Indian Council. From left, seated: Teddy Joe, Albert Louie,
