1970 -- Bergliot Solberg with her wolf hound and cougar which she had
killed was the daughter of Herman Solberg a pioneer logger in the Sechelt
Inlet area. From an early age she and her sister Minnie helped their father
in all aspects of logging. She ran a trap line for many years, fished
and hunted and kept miniature goats. After her husband died Minnie moved
from Jervis Inlet and lived with Bergie on the west side of the Sechelt
Inlet at Carlson Creek. Minnie died first then Bergie died there in 2002.
