-- Rockwood Lodge under construction
Lumber
for the construction of the lodge was supplied by Mr. Burley of B. C.
Fir and Cedar, Vancouver. It was shipped to Sechelt on Union Steamship
vessels 1935-1936.
The
three men seated on the lumber are left to right: W.A. (Bill) Youngson,
proprietor of the lodge, W.A. (Bill) Dawe of Georgia Engineering Works
Ltd., Coal Harbour, Vancouver and Captain Sam Dawe, resident of Sechelt
and later member of Sechelt's first Village Commission.
