Bob
Hackett aged 17, on the left, was the son of Robert S. Hackett, a prominent
early settler in Sechelt. Robert S. Hackett was the superintendent of
the Union Steamship Company in Sechelt and also the village's post master.
Hackett Park in Sechelt is named after him. The large sign could be seen
from the water by Union Steamship passengers.
