1968/1969
-- (l-r) Murray Newman, head of Vancouver Aquarium, Jack Davis, Minister
of Fisheries and Forestry, and Paul St. Pierre, MP for Coast-Chilcotin,
and a killer whale in the Garden Bay whale station of the Vancouver Public
Aquarium. Three whales had been captured: Natsidalia (female) died on
November 8, 1968; Skookum Cecil escaped from the Pender Harbour pen on
August 25, 1968; Hyak the baby went to the Vancouver Aquarium. See The
