1910-1912 -- A series of photographs taken of
the ex-tug, and at this time passenger vessel, S.S.
Tartar after she hit a reef off Lund and overturned.
She was salvaged by the tug William Jolliffe. She was
owned from 1907 to 1914 by first Herbert Whitaker's
Sechelt Towage Company Ltd. and then by some of his
other businesses. He converted her to a passenger ship
in 1909.
