photographs are of Union Steamship vessels, which operated between
Vancouver, Sechelt and Powell River. Some are of other steamship lines'
vessels or are of privately owned ships with connections to Sechelt.

1930s -- The S.S. Chelohsin, built in Ireland, served the Union
Steamship Line Company from 1911 to 1949 when she grounded just
west of Siwash Rock off Stanley Park. She was sold for scrap in
1951.
