-- Various photographs of the Hudson's Bay Company motor vessel Lady Kindersley
specially built in Vancouver in 1921 for the western Arctic trade. She
was christened by Frances Gladys O'Kelly wife of Thomas Patrick O'Kelly
and they sailed to the Arctic on the ship's maiden voyage. Patrick and
Gladys lived in Sechelt from1912 to about 1915 when he was Herbert Whitaker's
partner for a short time. In 1907 he had been a trader for the Hudson's
Bay Company in the north.
