circa 1978 -- postcard showing various views of the Sunshine Coast. Caption on the back of the postcard reads: "The Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada. Just as the early explorers reported the coast to be 'a treasure of islands and forests" the modern day boating enthusiast rediscovers the sheer beauty of this area. Along the isalnds the rocks are encursted with oysters and the bays and channels harbour salmon and cod. There are sandy beaches, marinas and boating facilities are plentiful. Home of the world's largest single unit paper mill, the Sunshine Coast enjoys prosperity mixed with the right balance of scenery and recreation."
